Each Tester will be supplied with 6 Smart Remote Plugs (with the option of buying more) which are individually programmed with numbers from 1 to 6. As each test is carried out, the tester will report back to the user a pass or fail and which Patch Panel socket the plug is plugged in to. Android Bluetooth 4.0 LE compatible with Android 5.0 or higher.
If a network installation has not be labelled correctly or you need to trace unidentified ports, then the Smart Remote Plugs makes tracing from one end of the cable to the other a quick and easy process. By inserting the Smart Remote Plugs into the ports of a Patch Panel, Patch App & Go will send a trace from the Wall Outlet on the other end of the cable back to the uniquely numbered Smart Remote Plug, instantly notifying the user of which number plug it has found, allowing the user to correctly label the link.
